Two Rota Nannies Required – Mayfair

Salary: £75,000–£95,000 gross per year, depending on education and experience
Start: Early October 2026
Schedule: Two weeks on / two weeks off

Burlington Nannies is delighted to be working with a lovely UHNW family based in Mayfair who are seeking two experienced Rota Nannies to care for their baby boy, who will be approximately three months old when the positions commence in early October.

This is a wonderful opportunity for confident, nurturing and highly professional nannies with extensive baby experience who are looking to join a warm, well-run household on a long-term basis.

Burlington Nannies has previously placed household staff with this family who have remained with them for many years, which is a lovely testament to the household and the positive working environment they provide.

The Role

The positions will operate on a two-week rotation and will include international travel with the family.

The successful nannies will take over from the family's current Newborn Care Specialist, who is establishing a good routine for the baby. The nannies will be expected to maintain this consistency while adapting his routine appropriately as he grows and develops.

While on duty, each nanny will have their own bedroom and bathroom located next to the baby's nursery and will be responsible for the baby monitor overnight.

The household is fully staffed and formal, so candidates must be comfortable working collaboratively as part of a wider household team and contributing positively to a harmonious and professional environment.

Responsibilities

The role will encompass all aspects of the baby's care, with particular attention to his developmental, educational, social and emotional needs.

As he grows, the nannies will be responsible for introducing stimulating, age-appropriate activities and experiences. The family would also like him to attend suitable baby groups and classes, allowing him to begin socialising with other children from a young age.

The nannies will be expected to maintain established routines, monitor developmental milestones and provide a nurturing, engaging and secure environment.

There are no traditional nursery duties such as laundry or cooking, as these are undertaken by other members of the household staff. The nannies will, however, be responsible for ensuring that the baby's nursery, play areas and belongings remain tidy, organised and well maintained.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates must have:

  • A recognised British childcare qualification

  • A minimum of eight years' professional nanny experience

  • Excellent baby experience and confidence caring for very young children

  • Previous rota nanny experience

  • A strong record of longevity in previous positions

  • Previous experience working within a fully staffed, team-based household

  • Excellent, checkable references

  • A clean, up-to-date DBS

  • Up-to-date paediatric first aid

  • The flexibility to travel internationally with the family

  • A warm, discreet, organised and adaptable approach

The family has a much-loved Labrador who is very much part of family life, so candidates should also be comfortable around dogs.

Interviews and trials will take place during September, with the positions commencing in early October 2026.
