A well-established, professionally staffed private household in Chigwell is seeking an experienced Temporary Daily Private Chef for the full month of September.
This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a skilled private chef who takes pride in preparing fresh, beautifully presented food and delivering consistently high standards within a private household.
The Role
The Chef will be responsible for preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner each day for three adults, with occasional additional guests.
Responsibilities will include:
Preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
Serving the evening meal
Creating healthy, well-balanced menus with a strong emphasis on British and Mediterranean cuisine
Sourcing and working with fresh, high-quality ingredients
Maintaining excellent standards of food preparation and presentation
Keeping the kitchen exceptionally clean, organised and well managed
Working calmly and discreetly alongside the existing household staff
The family enjoys refined yet approachable food, with an emphasis on freshness, balance and quality rather than overly elaborate dining.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will be:
A professional chef with excellent culinary skills and a genuine passion for cooking
Experienced working within private households
Confident preparing high-quality British and Mediterranean cuisine
Calm, well-mannered and discreet
Highly organised, dependable and reliable
Able to create varied, nutritious and beautifully presented daily menus
Comfortable working as part of an established household team
Consistent in maintaining high standards throughout the placement
