Depending on your profession and the positions you are applying for, we may also request professional references, identification, right-to-work documentation, relevant qualifications and certificates, DBS or appropriate criminal-record documentation and, for childcare roles, a current Paediatric First Aid certificate.

  • Yes. Suitable candidates are personally interviewed by our team before being introduced to families or private households.

    The interview gives us an opportunity to learn more about your professional experience, approach to your work, strengths, career goals and the type of position you are looking for.

  • Yes. Burlington Nannies works with families and private households in London, across the UK and internationally.

    Many of our positions also involve international travel, and some roles are based permanently overseas.

  • No. When we believe a position may be suitable for you, we will contact you to discuss the role first.

    We want both you and the client to feel that an introduction is worth pursuing, so we will never put you forward for a position without discussing it with you.

    Candidates who are already registered with us may also be contacted directly when we have a position that closely matches their experience and requirements.

    Depending on the role, the recruitment process may involve more than one interview and, in some cases, a trial.
