Experienced Rota Nanny – Abu Dhabi & International Travel

Location: Abu Dhabi, with international travel
Schedule: 3-week rotation
Salary: £65,000–£80,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
Child: One child, aged 5
Accommodation: Provided while on duty
Travel: International travel required; flights home provided

Burlington Nannies is seeking two highly experienced Rota Nannies to join a long-standing private client based in Abu Dhabi.

This is an excellent opportunity for accomplished career nannies looking for a long-term rotational position within an international, fully staffed household.

The successful candidates will provide attentive, developmentally focused care for one child aged 5, working closely with the mother and wider household team. The family is looking for warm, nurturing professionals who combine a genuine love of working with children with the discretion, organisation and professionalism required within a formal household.

The Role

The Rota Nannies will take responsibility for the child's day-to-day care, development and routines while on duty, creating a warm, engaging and structured environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing attentive and developmentally appropriate care for a 5-year-old child

  • Supporting the child's ongoing development and independence

  • Planning engaging, educational and age-appropriate activities

  • Organising outings, play opportunities and activities around the child's interests

  • Maintaining consistent routines and structure

  • Supporting the child's emotional and social development

  • Working collaboratively with the mother and other members of the household team

  • Travelling internationally with the family

  • Maintaining complete discretion and professionalism at all times

Candidate Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 5 years' professional nanny experience

  • Recognised childcare qualifications

  • Strong experience caring for children of a similar age

  • Excellent knowledge of child development

  • Previous experience working within high-profile, formal or fully staffed private households

  • Experience travelling internationally with private families

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A proactive, creative and resourceful approach

  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider household team

  • A warm, nurturing and empathetic manner

  • A high level of discretion and professionalism

  • Confidence working around animals
