Two Professional Rota Nannies Required

A private family is seeking two highly experienced, professional Rota Nannies to join them in caring for their baby, who is currently 6 weeks old. The family divide their time between their homes in Essex and Antigua.

The Role

The successful candidates will provide full nursery care and take responsibility for all aspects of the baby’s day-to-day needs. You will support the child through each stage of development, establishing appropriate routines and providing consistent, attentive and nurturing care as the baby grows.

The family’s home in Antigua is fully staffed and includes family dogs who are very much part of household life. Their Essex home is more low-key.

You will work closely with the parents and should be entirely comfortable with the mother being present, while equally confident taking full responsibility and acting as a proxy parent when required.

This is a highly private family, and absolute discretion, respect for their privacy and strict confidentiality are essential at all times.

Essential Requirements

• Extensive experience caring for babies from approximately 6 weeks old through to school age
• Excellent knowledge of child development and confidence supporting all key developmental milestones
• Native English speaker with a British passport
• Previous experience providing 24-hour care, ideally within a rota position
• Willing and able to travel regularly between the UK and Antigua
• Previous experience travelling with private families
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Naturally intuitive, adaptable and able to “read the room”
• Polished, well-spoken and well-mannered, with the ability to be a positive role model
• Comfortable working as part of a household team and alongside other staff
• Absolute commitment to discretion, privacy and confidentiality

Desirable

• Previous experience working with UHNW families
• Conversational French or Italian

Schedule: 4 weeks on / 4 weeks off
Salary: £70,000–£90,000 gross per year
