Rota Nanny – Abu Dhabi, UAE
Three-Week Rotation | £70,000–£75,000 Gross Per Annum | ASAP Start
A warm, professional and experienced Rota Nanny is required for a respectful and well-established family who have recently relocated from the UK to Abu Dhabi.
The role is caring for an inquisitive and engaging 2-year-old boy, supporting his development, early education and daily routine within a formal, fully staffed household.
The Role
This is a live-in position working a three-week rotation. The family will provide flights to and from the nanny’s home, as well as a private bedroom and bathroom while on duty.
The family travel internationally, so the successful candidate must be comfortable travelling and able to remain flexible and adaptable when accompanying them overseas.
The family are looking for a nanny who will be a warm and positive influence in their son’s life while providing excellent structure and consistency. The role will have a strong developmental and educational focus, encouraging his natural curiosity and supporting his language, social and emotional development through engaging, age-appropriate activities.
The nanny will work as part of a wider household team and should be comfortable communicating and collaborating with other members of staff while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing attentive and nurturing care for the little boy throughout the rota period
• Planning stimulating and age-appropriate activities, outings and learning opportunities
• Supporting his speech, language, social and emotional development
• Encouraging independence and curiosity through play and everyday experiences
• Maintaining a consistent and age-appropriate daily routine
• Supporting meals, bath time, bedtime and all aspects of nursery care
• Organising his belongings, clothing, toys and nursery areas
• Travelling internationally with the family as required
• Working collaboratively with other household staff
• Providing clear and professional communication to ensure consistency between rotations
Candidate Requirements
• Previous experience working within a formal, fully staffed private household is essential
• Strong experience caring for children around 2 years old
• Previous rota experience or experience providing 24-hour care is highly preferred
• A genuine interest in early childhood development and education
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Warm, engaging and confident with young children
• Polite, discreet, well-mannered and professional
• Flexible and adaptable, particularly when travelling internationally
• A team-focused approach and the ability to work harmoniously within a staffed household
• Native English speaker preferred
