The Role
A family based in Marylebone is seeking a professional and experienced Rota Nanny to care for their 5-month-old child. This is a long-term position offering excellent longevity within a formal, fully staffed household.
The family is looking for a calm, approachable and highly capable nanny with strong baby experience, who is confident supporting a child through each stage of development from infancy through to school age.
Working on a one week on / one week off rota, the nanny will take responsibility for providing attentive, nurturing and developmentally focused care while working collaboratively with the parents and wider household team.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, nurturing and age-appropriate care for one child, currently aged 5 months.
Support the child’s overall development and encourage key developmental milestones.
Establish and maintain appropriate routines around feeding, sleeping, play and daily activities.
Plan engaging, stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities as the child grows.
Provide excellent baby care and confidently adapt routines and activities through each developmental stage.
Maintain a calm, safe and well-organised environment for the child.
Work collaboratively and respectfully alongside other members of the household team.
Communicate clearly and professionally with the parents regarding the child’s routine, development and general wellbeing.
Travel with the family when required.
The Ideal Candidate
A professional and highly experienced nanny with strong experience caring for babies of a similar age.
Confident caring for children from infancy through to school age.
Excellent understanding of baby development, routines and developmental milestones.
Calm, approachable and nurturing, with a professional manner.
Highly organised, reliable and discreet.
Excellent communication skills.
Comfortable working within a formal, fully staffed private household.
Able to work collaboratively while remaining confident in their own childcare knowledge and experience.
Fluent in English.
Comfortable travelling internationally with the family.
Schedule & Accommodation
The position operates on a one week on / one week off rota.
The nanny will live in while on duty and will be provided with their own private bedroom and bathroom.
