Sole-Charge Daily Nanny – Belsize Park
35 hours per week | Monday to Friday, 12pm–7pm | £45,000–£50,000 gross per annum | Long-term position
A professional working family based in Belsize Park is seeking an experienced and dedicated Sole-Charge Daily Nanny to care for their bright, sociable and energetic 2½-year-old daughter.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a career nanny who genuinely enjoys working with young children and takes pride in supporting all aspects of a child’s development. The family is looking for someone warm, loving and engaging who will provide consistency, structure and plenty of fun.
The Role
Working on a sole-charge basis, you will take responsibility for the little girl’s care, routine and development during your working hours.
Duties will include:
Planning and providing age-appropriate educational, physical and creative activities
Supporting the child’s emotional, social and developmental needs
Preparing healthy and nutritious meals and snacks
Organising engaging outings, classes and activities
Encouraging outdoor play and opportunities to explore
Maintaining a warm, stimulating and well-structured environment
Taking responsibility for the child’s day-to-day routine and nursery duties
The little girl is outgoing, full of energy and laughter, and thrives on interaction and play. The ideal nanny will be kind-hearted, affectionate, professional and proactive, with a genuine enthusiasm for helping her learn and develop.
Working Hours
Monday to Friday
12pm–7pm
35 hours per week
Occasional flexibility may be required. The family is also happy to offer additional babysitting where mutually agreed.
Salary
£45,000–£50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience.
The Household
The family has a friendly Labrador who is very much part of the household, so the nanny must be comfortable working in a home with a dog.
A dog walker is employed, so there are no formal pet-care responsibilities. However, the nanny would be very welcome to take the Labrador along on park outings if they wished.
There is no travel required with this position.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ professional nanny experience
Strong and proven experience caring for children of a similar age
Confident working on a sole-charge basis
Warm, engaging and developmentally focused
Proactive and able to plan stimulating activities and outings
Comfortable with a dog in the household
Excellent references
A genuine passion for childcare
