Burlington Nannies is delighted to be working with a lovely, busy family based in Belgravia who is seeking an experienced, energetic and warm rota nanny or manny to care for their 10-year-old twins, a boy and a girl.
This is a hands-on position within a well-staffed household. The successful candidate will play an important role in the children’s daily lives, from managing school routines and supporting their education to cooking, laundry and providing a calm, positive presence.
The family is looking for someone who brings energy, organisation and genuine care to the role while remaining discreet, emotionally mature and respectful of the household environment.
Schedule and Accommodation
The position operates on a one-week-on, one-week-off rotation. A private bedroom and bathroom are provided while on duty.
Responsibilities
The rota nanny or manny will be responsible for:
Full nursery duties, including cooking for the children and managing their laundry
Organising diaries, school runs and daily routines
Managing school correspondence and liaising with teachers
Supporting homework and the children’s wider education
Acting as a positive mentor and role model
Occasional proxy parenting
Travelling internationally with the family
Working collaboratively with other household staff
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate will:
Have proven experience in rota positions and fully staffed households
Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
Be active, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment
Have a calm, warm and engaging personality
Possess the emotional intelligence to read the room and respond appropriately
Be flexible, adaptable and able to solve problems without becoming flustered
Be a confident driver with a clean driving licence
Demonstrate complete discretion and respect for the family’s privacy
Salary
The salary offered is £60,000–£75,000 gross per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
