Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 gross per annum
Schedule: Two weeks on / Two weeks off (Live-in during working weeks)

Burlington Nannies is delighted to present a wonderful long-term opportunity for an experienced, professional rota nanny to join a warm and welcoming family based in the heart of Notting Hill. You will be caring for two delightful boys, aged 4 and 8, providing exceptional care and support during your working rotation.

This is a highly sought-after position with a family who truly values their nannies. Burlington Nannies has previously placed two nannies with this family, both of whom remained in the role for four years—a testament to the positive working environment and long-term nature of the position.

The Role

During your two-week rotation, you will take full responsibility for the children's day-to-day care, ensuring their routines run smoothly while creating a happy, nurturing, and stimulating environment. You will have your own private bedroom and bathroom whilst on duty, and a full-time housekeeper will take care of the family's laundry.

Occasional proxy parenting will be required, and there may also be opportunities to accompany the family on trips.

Responsibilities

  • Providing exceptional day-to-day care for both children.

  • Managing school runs and daily routines.

  • Organising appointments, extracurricular activities and playdates.

  • Planning engaging, educational and age-appropriate activities.

  • Supporting homework and encouraging learning and development.

  • Managing the children's wardrobes and keeping their bedrooms and play areas organised.

  • Working collaboratively with the parents and household staff to ensure consistency and excellent communication.

  • Providing calm, structured support, particularly for one child with high-functioning ADHD.

  • Occasionally undertaking proxy parenting responsibilities.

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced career nanny who is calm, patient and naturally nurturing. You will have excellent organisational skills, enjoy creating fun and educational activities, and be confident managing the routines of school-aged children.

You will be warm, professional and proactive, with outstanding communication skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship with both the children and their parents.

Experience supporting children with high-functioning ADHD would be highly advantageous.
