The Role
Burlington Nannies is working with a welcoming family based in South Kensington who is seeking an experienced and professional Career Nanny to care for their two children, a boy and a girl aged 7 and 10.
This is a long-term, daily live-out position and would suit a confident, organised and engaging nanny who enjoys caring for school-aged children and is looking for genuine longevity with a family.
The children are active and sporty, so the successful candidate should be energetic, outgoing and happy to get involved in their interests and activities while providing a warm, structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive, proactive and age-appropriate care for both children.
Take responsibility for all child-related duties, including children’s laundry, wardrobe management and keeping toys and play areas organised.
Drive the children to and from school, clubs, activities and appointments as required.
Shop for the children’s needs and ensure they are well prepared for school, clubs and activities.
Plan fun, stimulating and age-appropriate activities.
Support and oversee homework, encouraging positive routines and independence.
Research, organise and book holiday camps and activities during the school holidays.
Manage child-related administration during school hours, including communication with schools and clubs, arranging playdates and scheduling medical appointments.
Travel with the family up to four times per year.
Offer flexibility for approximately two evenings of babysitting per month and occasional proxy parenting.
Candidate Requirements
An experienced Career Nanny with strong, checkable experience caring for children of a similar age.
Confident, outgoing and active, with the energy to keep pace with sporty children.
Strong swimmer.
Confident driver with a clean driving record preferred. A driver is essential, and a car will be provided during working hours.
Current Paediatric First Aid qualification.
Enhanced DBS check.
Excellent, checkable references.
Fluent English with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Warm, professional and discreet, with the ability to work collaboratively within a family home.

Salary: £60,000–£65,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
