Live-In Nanny – Regent’s Park
Mid-October Start | Monday–Friday | One Baby Aged 4 Months | £50,000–£60,000 Gross per Annum | Long-Term
Burlington Nannies is working with a professional family based in Regent’s Park who is seeking a highly experienced, warm and nurturing Live-In Nanny to care for their 4-month-old baby.
The role will begin in mid-October, taking over from the family’s maternity nurse, and is intended to be a long-term position. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced baby nanny who is confident, committed and genuinely passionate about supporting babies through their early years.
The Role
You will have full responsibility for the care of one baby, ensuring they are happy, settled and supported through each stage of their development.
The family is looking for a nanny who will provide a warm and engaging environment, with plenty of talking, singing, play and age-appropriate activities. A strong understanding of baby and child development is essential, alongside recent experience caring for babies of a similar age.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing full care for one baby aged 4 months
Establishing and maintaining a consistent, age-appropriate routine
Supporting physical, emotional, social and cognitive development
Encouraging early language development through talking, singing, reading and play
Managing all nursery duties and child-related responsibilities
Supporting developmental stages including weaning and, later, potty training
Travelling internationally with the family as required
Working collaboratively with other household staff
Maintaining excellent communication with the parents and wider household team
The Ideal Candidate
The successful nanny will be emotionally mature, discreet, approachable and naturally nurturing. You should be someone who can read the room, understand people well and work sensitively within a formal household environment.
Strong and recent baby experience is essential. A native English speaker is preferred to support the baby’s early language development, and an EU passport would be advantageous due to the family’s international travel.
The family has two much-loved collies, so you must also be comfortable working in a household with dogs.
Hours & Accommodation
The role is Monday to Friday, working approximately 12 hours per day.
Some flexibility will be required, as there may occasionally be a need to work on a Saturday or Sunday. When this happens, a weekday off will be provided and plenty of notice will be given.
Excellent private accommodation is provided, including the nanny’s own bedroom, living area and bathroom.
Requirements
Strong and recent experience caring for babies of a similar age
Excellent knowledge of baby and child development
Previous experience within private households
Confident working as part of a wider household team
International travel experience
Flexible, discreet and confidential
Comfortable around dogs
Enhanced DBS
Paediatric First Aid
Strong, checkable references
EU passport advantageous
Native English speaker preferred
To Apply
Please only apply if you meet the above criteria and have proven, recent experience caring for babies of a similar age.
This is an excellent long-term opportunity for a professional and experienced baby nanny who is warm, engaging and looking to become a valued part of a household team.
