Burlington Nannies is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and professional Live-in Nanny for a warm and welcoming family based in Kensington, caring for their delightful 11-month-old baby girl. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a nanny who is passionate about infant care, early childhood development, and creating a nurturing, structured environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will provide full-time, attentive care for an 11-month-old baby, supporting her daily routine, development, and wellbeing while working closely with her family. This role is ideally suited to someone with strong baby experience, particularly with weaning and preparing nutritious meals, who enjoys becoming a valued part of a family.
Key Responsibilities
Providing loving, attentive, full-time care.
Managing daily routines, naps, play, stimulation, and emotional support.
Preparing healthy, age-appropriate meals and supporting the weaning process.
Encouraging development through sensory play, reading, and engaging activities.
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised nursery and children's areas.
Travelling with the family for periods of 2–3 weeks, providing seamless care throughout.
Working closely with the parents to maintain consistency in routines and childcare.
Working Schedule
Wednesday to Sunday each week.
Mondays and Tuesdays off.
During family travel (typically 2–3 weeks), you will work continuously before enjoying one full week off upon return.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven professional experience caring for babies.
Excellent knowledge of weaning and preparing nutritious baby food.
Maternity Nurse training or specialist infant care experience (highly advantageous).
Fluent English, both spoken and written.
Additional languages such as Russian, French, or Spanish would be highly desirable.
A warm, patient, trustworthy, and compassionate nature.
Excellent, checkable references.
The ability to work independently while communicating effectively with the family.
A non-smoking lifestyle.
