Rota Nanny - London with travel
Location: South West London with international travel
Role: Join a Dedicated Team Caring for Four School-Aged Children
Start Date: ASAP
Rota: One week on/off, Monday to Sunday
Team: 4 nannies, 2 on duty at all times
We are seeking a highly professional rota nanny to join a well-established team caring for four school-aged children in a busy household. This role involves a flexible mix of live-in and live-out arrangements based on the family’s schedule and location, with regular travel to other UK residences and overseas during holidays.
Daily Duties
• Supervise and actively engage with the children at all times
• Manage school runs, after-school collections, and support extracurricular activities
• Maintain tidy children’s areas and ensure good personal hygiene
• Plan and lead age-appropriate, engaging activities
• Assist with homework, educational exercises, and personal development
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks; clean up after mealtimes
• Travel with the family during holidays, packing and managing children’s schedules
• Coordinate playdates, birthday celebrations, and facilitate social development
• Carry out ad hoc errands while children are at school
General Responsibilities
• Prioritise the children’s interests in education, health, and behaviour
• Communicate effectively with the Principals regarding routines and updates
• Promote healthy routines and habits, including exercise and limiting screentime
• Maintain consistent boundaries, instilling manners and etiquette
• Manage all school-related matters—newsletters, events, exams, tutoring
• Collaborate with the office team to organise the children's calendar, appointments, and commitments
• Oversee medical and health-related matters, ensuring comprehensive care
• Liaise with other staff to ensure smooth family operations
Requirements
• Excellent references and significant childcare experience
• Fluent English with a strong educational background
• Highly organised, IT literate (emails, Microsoft Office, calendar management)
• Travel ready: valid passport, unrestricted international travel ability
• Flexible with rota, schedule, and location; comfortable with extended overseas travel
• Current DBS and first aid certification
• Valid driving licence and confident driving the family
• Experience managing multiple children aged 8 to teens
• Well presented, physically fit, energetic, and pet friendly
• Experience overseeing homework; tutoring or educational background a bonus
• Understanding of neurodiversity (ASD/ADHD) advantageous
