Burlington Nannies is delighted to be recruiting two professional and experienced Rota Nannies for a warm and welcoming British/German family based in beautiful Salzburg, Austria.

The family has 9-month-old twins, a boy and a girl, and is seeking nurturing, capable and knowledgeable nannies who can support the children throughout infancy, their developmental milestones and into the toddler years.

An EU passport is essential for this position, along with fluent spoken English.

The Role

Working on a two-week-on / two-week-off rotation, each nanny will take full responsibility for the twins during their duty period, providing attentive and loving care while creating a calm, stimulating and nurturing environment in which they can thrive.

  • Prepare healthy, balanced and age-appropriate meals for the children.

  • Establish and maintain consistent routines as the twins grow.

  • Work collaboratively with the parents and maintain clear, professional communication.

  • Travel internationally with the family throughout the year, including on skiing trips and beach holidays.

  • Provide proxy parenting when required.

The Ideal Candidates

The family is looking for knowledgeable and experienced professional nannies with substantial baby experience, ideally including experience caring for twins or two children of a similar age.

Candidates should have a strong understanding of early-years development and be confident supporting babies as they progress through their developmental milestones and into toddlerhood.

You will be:

  • Warm, caring, calm and patient.

  • Nurturing and empathetic in your approach.

  • Highly organised and reliable.

  • Confident using your initiative.

  • An excellent communicator.

  • Comfortable working alongside hands-on parents.
