Two Weeks On / Two Weeks Off | £70,000–£85,000 Gross Per Annum | Two Children Aged 14 Months & 5 Years
A returning client of Burlington Nannies is seeking a professional, experienced and dedicated Rota Nanny to join their busy household in South Kensington.
This is a wonderful long-term opportunity caring for two children, aged 14 months and 5 years, working on a two weeks on, two weeks off rotation with 24-hour responsibility during duty weeks.
The Role
The successful nanny will provide attentive, nurturing and developmentally appropriate care, creating a happy and engaging environment in which both children can thrive.
The eldest child attends school full-time, so school runs and supporting their school routine will form an important part of the position. The nanny will also plan outings, attend classes and organise a varied programme of age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
Responsibilities will include:
Providing sole-charge care for both children throughout the two-week duty period.
Managing school runs and supporting the eldest child’s learning and school routine.
Planning stimulating outings, classes, play and age-appropriate activities.
Maintaining consistent routines and providing warm, positive guidance.
Heating prepared meals and preparing snacks when required. No regular cooking is expected.
Travelling with the family during duty weeks throughout the year.
Communicating clearly and working collaboratively within a staffed household.
Working Pattern & Accommodation
This is a two weeks on, two weeks off rota position, covering 24 hours per day while on duty.
The nanny will be provided with their own bedroom and bathroom and will hold the monitor overnight. The youngest child is currently sleeping well through the night.

The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 12 years’ professional nannying experience.
Proven experience caring for both babies and school-aged children.
A strong employment history demonstrating longevity in previous roles.
Excellent organisational, communication and teamwork skills.
A warm, engaging and hands-on approach.
The willingness and ability to travel internationally with the family.
A driving licence would be advantageous.
Native-level English, French or Spanish preferred.
Salary & Application
Salary: £70,000–£85,000 gross per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
