Governor Governorness/Tutor - Kensington

Accommodation: Daily or Live in (Separate flat provided if you require live in)

Hours: Monday to Friday 2pm to 9pm

Licences: Driver essential

Salary: £60,000 to 100,000 gross per year DOE

It is essential that you have a strong academic background and have worked in a similar role. Native English is a strong preference as it is the families secondly language. 

Burlington Nannies is currently working with a long term client. They are looking for an afternoon Governor or Governess/Tutor to assist in the care and education of two children aged 7 & 8 years old. The children are bright and intelligent. They attend school full time, and you will be required to do the school pick up. Therefore, you must be able to drive. 

This is a role for someone who is excellent at teaching English. Both written and spoken. Ensuring the children’s grammar is on point. Reading and overseeing their writing. You must also be confident to assist maths leading up to GCSE level. The ability and a proven track record of assisting with 11 and 13+ plus support is equally important in this role. 

This is a formal staffed household, and you must be able to work in a team environment. Holding excellent communication and organisational skills are key. Everyone pulls together. A rota Governor and Governess/ nanny are also employed and work on a two week rotation. You will be a support to one another.
