Burlington Nannies is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a lovely, down-to-earth family in Virginia Water who are seeking an experienced and qualified Rota Nanny to join them on a long-term, two weeks on / two weeks off live-in basis.

The Role
You will have sole-charge responsibility during your working weeks, managing every aspect of the child's daily routine, education and wellbeing. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable and genuinely passionate about supporting a child's development through engaging, educational and creative experiences.
Working closely with the parents and the other rota nanny, you will help provide consistency, structure and a nurturing environment in which their daughter can thrive.

Travel: Occasional travel with the family

Responsibilities
Providing sole-charge care for one 5-year-old child.
Managing morning and bedtime routines.
School preparation, school runs and accompanying the child to activities.
Supporting early learning through reading, creative play and educational activities.
Keeping the child's learning journal up to date.
Planning outings, playdates and engaging after-school activities.
Preparing fresh, healthy meals and snacks.
Maintaining the child's bedroom, wardrobe and play areas.
Assisting with light child-related household duties.
Working closely with the parents and the other rota nanny to ensure continuity of care.
Travelling with the family when required.
About You
The ideal candidate will be a warm, calm and experienced career nanny with a genuine passion for supporting young children's development.
You will be organised, proactive and confident taking full responsibility during your rota, while building a trusted, long-term relationship with both the child and her family.
Candidate Requirements
Previous professional nanny experience (rota experience advantageous).
Full, clean driving licence.
Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
Strong understanding of early years development.
Warm, nurturing and reliable.
Professional, discreet and respectful.
Proactive and happy to become fully involved in family life.
