We have a fantastic opportunity for a top bi lingual Nanny who would like to work in one of the most wonderful cities in the world. It is essential that you are binlingual in both English and French.
We have a family who have most recently relocated to Paris. They are living in the 16th district which is a very chic and affluent area. You will be provided with your own apartment in the 8th district. Between the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Eylsèes. Surrounded by beautiful shops, art galleries and museums. You will be responsible for two little ones, a boy aged 3 and a girl aged 6 years old. The children speak fluent French and are currently in a bilingual school. However there is English is limited and you will be required to focus on their English.
The children attend school Monday to Friday from 9am through to 4.30pm. Half day on a Wednesday.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday. The day starts at 7.30 when the children wake up. You will prepare breakfast, get them ready for their day and drop them off at school. You will be then be required to go back to the family home, tidy their bedrooms and bathrooms and get their dinner ready for when they return from school. This will usually take you up until 10am. Depending on how you manage your day you can have down time until 3.30. The family are happy if you want to return to your own apartment should you wish to.
Once you have collected the children from school you will be required to assist with homework, after school activities, take the children to the park, play games etc... you will also oversee dinner and bedtime routine. Your day will end at 7.30. Flexibility is required for babysitting and additional hours from time to time. The family have a staffed household so you will not be required to do the laundry or cleaning. However you must have good communication skills and work in a team environment. You will solely be responsible for the children.
The family travel (mainly to Dubai) and you will be required to travel with them.
It is essential that you have at least 3 years child care experience, hold a child care or education qualification. Speak both English and French. Confident working with children along with a Happy and warm nature.
Salary dependent on skills, education and experience. £3000 - 4500 per month.
