Rota Governess

South Bank

We are looking for a native French Governess to work for a family living close to Southbank. This is a rota position working two weeks on and two weeks off assisting and supporting the education of one very bright and adorable little boy. It is essential that you are highly educated, ideally a qualified teacher and it is a must that you have experience teaching children. There is a younger sibling who has his own nanny but as he gets older you will be required to take over – proving there is longevity with the role. The requirement is for you to speak only in French with the little boy – unless you are helping with his English homework in regards to reading and writing. You will assist in all areas of education, organising activities and playdates, liaising with the school, teaching good manners and family values. You will also be required to cook healthy balanced meals and ensure his laundry and bedroom are kept in order. You will also be responsible for the school runs. On the weeks you are working you will be provided with your own bedroom and bathroom but must have your own accommodation on the weeks you are off. We have met with the family and we can honestly say this is one of the nicest families we have the pleasure to work with. You will be made to feel very welcome and appreciated in their home. Travel will be required and good sea legs as the family often spend time on the yacht. Salary £1000 per week net (£52,000 per annum)
